Ghia Raw

One of the positives about this car is it's interior.  I really don't like interior work, so with the exception of paint and a dash, this one's good enough for me.  The other positive was it's lack of rust.  After our last Jeep YJ project, this is comparatively rust-free.  (I'll attach pictures of how that project turned-out later)  This car does have about 250 lbs of body filler; much of it will need to be remediated.  As you can see from some of the pictures, it's 'delaminiating' (for lack of a better word) and looks like it was never sanded properly.  Underneath is just surface rust.  The front suspension looks good.  The only real areas of concern as respects rust are the battery area to the left of the engine compartment, and the spare tire well in the very front.

The car came to me with four 'mis-matched' wheels.  One is chromed, which I think is pretty cool.  I may keep this one as a spare.  I'm not sure what kind of wheels I'll eventually put on this.  I've done the 8" wide monsters before...not doing that again (I think I'm still paying for wheel bearings that I bought in 1984)  I really like the oem wheels, but I'm also like the EMPI style and some of the old Porsche style wheels.  As you can see from the top wheel pictured, the current style is "lake rescue mud and rust".  That's not paint...it's just...weathered.
